Note: Morrice's will dated 4 Aug 1557 describes him as of Bloxham in the diocese of Oxford, gent. He was clearly connected with Pembrokeshire , as he not only devised to his son , Willliam Wogan, all his lands and leases in Dewisland and elsewhere in that county, and also bequeathed to him a lease of property in Cardiganshire, held by the testator of 'his uncle William Wogan [MB254] of Bradwell [Co. Bucks] but also bequeathed to John Cannon and Maurice Cannon who were no doubt near relatives of his mother, a lease of the ' messuage of Laugherne' on certain trusts.
To his son William he gave the tithes in banbury, Southroppes and Mylcombe, and the leases of the parsonages of Bloxham and Munckeswood, and freeholds in Cherington (all subject to a life estate to testator's wife, Elizabeth, therein) and also (subject to a life estate to testator's uncle, William Wogan of Bradwell) the farm of Chenley.
Morrice died prior to 18 Nov 1557, as his will was proved in London [Wrastley, fol 49] on that date by his widow, Elizabeth whom he had appointed executrix.

Note:
According to the Harleian MSS [No. 14,314 fol. 86b] the only son of Henry Wogan by his wife Elizabeth Canon, married Ursula, the daughter of John Samwell, but if this be correct, Morrice must have married a second wife {or the forename is wrong - KJW}, as by his will he bequeathed an annuity of £10 to his wife Elizabeth for her life.
